Monthly Crew Business Meeting
 
Each month, the Hopewell Emergency Crew host a meeting for all members whereby matters of the organization are presented, discussed, and if necessary voted upon.  This meeting takes place on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30PM in the main classroom at crew headquarters.  The meeting is open to individuals who are interested in membership and/or have a matter that they would like to present to the membership of Hopewell EMS with prior notice.
 
If you are interested in attending one of our business meetings, please use one of the contact options below to provide notification of your intent to do so.  We recommend that you clearly state your reasoning for wanting to attend and provide a brief overview of the matters you would like to bring before the membership of the crew.

Upcoming Training
 
Month of August:  All members who are part of the ALS & BLS competition teams, practice for competition will take place once a week for the remainder of the month.  Dates and times are to be announced.  For more information, please contact Lt. Dian Lezotte, Training.

We are now approaching that time of year where we begin to plan for our annual Open House.  Our Open House is a time where we invite any and everyone from the community to come out for a day of food, games, and fun.  This is your chance to come out and meet your hometown heroes and learn about what it is we do and if your are interested how you can become involved.  We will have several tables offering valuable information on your health and safety as well as fun games for the kids.  There will be something for everyone and fun for the entire family.  Check back here often for updates and the announcement of the date and time our annual Open House.  We hope to see you there.

Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads 75th Annual EMS Convention
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Members of Hopewell EMS will be heading to Virginia Beach to participate in the annual EMS convention.  All members that are planning to go will need to contact Kyle Langley to receive information on room assignments, class schedules, etc.  Anyone on the competition teams will need to contact Aubrey Taylor for more information on competition times.
